PRESENTACION

                              PRESENTACIÓN. Ciro Alegría se inicia en el periodismo y funda, con otros estudiantes, el diario "Juventud" y luego "Tribuna Sanjuanista". Sus talentos periodísticos atraen la atención de Orrego quien lo invita a trabajar para "El Norte". Pero después de divergencias con Orrego, renuncia en "El Norte" y va a trabajar a "La Industria" donde es destacado por don Miguel F. Cerro, el propietario del diario, quien reconoce en Ciro talentos de redactor. Pero, por razones políticas, Ciro Alegría debe dejar "La Industria".
